Christmas mug-snowmen



Christmas mug-snowmen

You will need the following: White china mug, paint, piping bag (with small hole lid), stencil/template (optional), black marker pen, orange felt, ModPodge, paint brush.

  1. Fill the piping bag with dark blue paint. Squeeze a squiggly line near the bottom of the mug, then fill above the line all dark blue.
  2. Using white paint, make two circles, overlapping the rim of the blue squiggly line.
  3. Draw two black dots on the top circle, then underneath an orange triangle.
  4. Draw three black dots down the bigger, lower circle. Then add some more snowmen.
  5. In the background squeeze white dots covering all around.
  6. On the handle paint on thick red and green stripes horizontally (across).
  7. Cover everything, but the inside, in ModPodge using a paint brush. 
  8. Allow to dry.
  9. And your done, this mug is perfect to use with hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream!
You could also use this as a gift to a friend or a member of family. It even makes a great stocking gift!

   Light bulb christmas ornament-penguin

You will need the following: A light bulb, paint, paint brushes, ribbon, glue, scissors, and a white pom-pom. 

  1. Paint the light bulb black, then on ONLY one side paint a smaller light bulb shape in white.
  2. Add two black dots nearer the top of the white light bulb shape, and an orange triangle underneath.
  3. Paint a scarf  and a hat using fun colours all the way around.
  4. In the pom-pom cut a little hole, thread the ribbon through and tie a not.
  5. Glue the pom-pom to the top of the light bulb, and your done.

Wine cork snowflakes




Wine cork snowflakes.

You will need the following: Wine corks, silver/gold glitter, strong glue, clear glue, paint brushes.

  1. Begin by creating a circle using 6 corks.
  2. Start at the top and add 2 more pointing up.
  3. Miss one then add 2 more corks pointing to the left, and so on until there is a gap between the last one you did, and the first.
  4. Carefully remove each cork and add glue on the sides, allowing them to stick together and dry.
  5. Once dry, using a paint brush cover the top with glue, then sprinkle glitter on top, covering all of the gaps.
  6. Using a paint brush, cover the top with clear glue, to make a shiny glossy finish.
  7. Use these beautiful snowflakes for whatever you want, mind they are delicate, so be careful!

Easy pipe cleaner keyrings (Christmas Tree)




Pipe cleaner keyrings.

You will need the following: Pipe cleaners, string, round beads, a star bead.


  1. Take a green pipe cleaner, and create a zig-zag, going bigger at the bottom and smaller at the top, also add a small loop at the top, make sure it is secure.
  2. Thread different round beads down the zig-zag, but be careful you don't break the zig-zag.
  3. Poke the string through the hole of the star bead and make a loop then tie a knot to keep that loop in place. 
  4. Take two green pipe cleaners and slide round beads on.
  5. Twist them in and out the gaps at the end of each zig-zag, twisting round and round to make it secure.

Easy Christmas headband.



    You will need the following: An old headband, glitter, glue, paint brushes, card, small baubles.

  1. Cover the headband in glue, and sprinkle the glitter on.
  2. Cut out some christmasy shapes out of the card, and stick it onto the baubles.
  3. Put glue on the bottom of the baubles, and stick them in your wanted order on the headband.
  4. Add any other christmasy decorations wanted.

   You will need the following: Felt, buttons, ribbon, embroidery thread, needle, glue, scissors.

  1. Cut out two big and two small felt circles, red and green work well for christmas.
2) Use glue to attach the small circles unto the big circles.
3) Use a needle and thread to attach buttons onto your felt circles.
4) Cut a piece of ribbon (use a book to figure out the length you want) and glue each end onto the back of the felt circles, you can also do some stitching to make it secure.
5) Glue the back of the circles onto felt pieces. Once they are dry cut the access felt around the big circles (this will make circles the exact same size as your big circles.)
